Class: Bivalvia. 3 specimens. All have both valves still connected. Large, subcircular and thick with well defined radiating growth lines. They vary in colour from whites to light purples and reds. However, they have a very distinctive and recognisable pattern of concentric zigzags. The internal surface is white and glossy. This species is a burrower and can be found in fine gravels.
