British replica of a German medal of iron, struck to commemorate the sinking of the Cunar liner Lusitania, May 7th 1915. The front of the medal has an image of a sinking ship in swirling waves while the reverse has an image of the 'Grim Reaper' or a skeleton selling tickets to passengers. Medal in original gift box.
